What We Do

occupational therapy

Seedlings offers effective occupational therapy services for children. Occupational Therapists work with children of all ages and their families, to help enhance skills necessary for their everyday life including playing, getting dressed and handwriting.

Speech therapy

Speech therapy helps improve communication skills. The specialists who do this type of therapy are speech-language pathologists (SLPs). They start by identifying what kind of speech or language problem a child has. Then they determine what’s causing it and decide on the best treatment.

Physical Therapy

Physical therapists help children of all abilities participate and reach their unique potential. Physical therapists use a variety of treatments to help children of all ages build strength, improve movement, and strengthen skills needed to complete daily activities.

Special Instruction

Seedlings offers special instruction services for a child that has a learning problem or disability that make it more difficult for them to learn than most children their age. This services are often one-on-one sessions with child and caregiver. The teacher will coach the caregiver so they can help their child learn new skills in the area(s) with developmental delays.

Applied Behavioral Anaylsis (ABA) therapy

ABA therapy can improve social, communication, and learning skills, as well as general quality of life, through positive reinforcement. At Seedlings we believe in ABA because it's an evidence-based treatment endorsed by the US Surgeon General and American Psychological Association for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
